This is such a good album that it's hard to describe it in words.It's the darkest album i have ever heared from them and it's just so sexy and infernal.I think Ville was not mature enough in this album but that's what it makes it so incredible.My favourite singles are It's all tears and THE BEGINNING OF THE END.This one is so dark and even ironic."A drop of yourmpiric and a bit obscene in a positive way.This album truly sounds like HIM!!!

I really love this one. I wish they'd finally get on and do For You, Our Diabolical Rapture or The Heartless live again. That would be a breath of fresh air instead of the same old same old (Wicked Game, Join Me, Poison Girl ect.)

I'm in love with this album...It's my favourite...God I wish I started listening to them in that wonderful era (that era that passed and will never come back..so sad :( ) I like so much Ville's voice in that album and the band's music...It's so dark, satanic, so heavy...but also at the same time so erotic and sensual....It's all tears---> "I'll violate in the most sensual way" I mean c'mon this lyric is pure genius...Maybe it's me but I always thought that this was their most "heavy" album, not Venus Doom :S But hey maybe it's just me...I also like the cover and generally the booklet...Ville like the devil in the cover with all the red clouds and fires in the background...It's sooo beautiful and unique...

I'd like to know how much is a fair price for the digipack version of this album. Can anyone help me?

The best albums ever was the first 4! but this Gothic its just great...the worse was the 5th (darklight) and the venus doom its so and so, gets repetitive and boring too fast... they can make something better...they should follow more creative piano sounds and maybe more melodic... (they got so much success in the first albums because of their creative sounds,coz they were different from other bands!...this venus doom its just the typical "metal" crap sounds, im tired of listening all of the same...)they also should follow more the goth style... But i dont know if they will ever catch the success of those first 3 albums... they're following some non creative way... (they're just playing over and over the same samples, or they're just playing like all the other bands, where is the HIM Originality? where is that brilliant sound and melody!?) :/ they must work harder to get something amazing like those first albums! but at the same time different from them, work in different piano samples, invent them! Or else who will get doomed will be band :/

This is my 2nd favourite album!!It has an infernal magic that nowhere else can you find(except Venus Doom,which is my fav).It's cover is so...satanistic!!! It's the best!!!Ville is so...WOW!!!!!!!!He DOESN'T look like Marilyn Manson!!!!!! No way!!!!!!!(I have no problem with Marilyn,ok?)

This is at least 4 me the best of their albums...I mean I'm totally in love whit Razorblade and Deep Shadows 2...but there's something about this 1 that U just can't find in the others....it have that perfect balance between romanticism and dark that make's it unique...

To start I would like to mention that i am a 100% heterosexual male(Not that it matters what anyone else's preference is.)Regardless,I think this cover shot for it's artistic value alone is worth mention."The cover shot captures the mood.That is an understatement!The gaunt,ghostly frame of a young Ville,the stoic glare off-frame,the red clouds(or fire) in the background,DARK MAGIC!!!Now,on to the music.UNBELIEVEABLE!!!ONE OF THE BEST DEBUT FULL-LENGTH ALBUMS EVER!!!By some people's standards this isn't even a full-length,but who cares?This release pre-dates the heartagram,but still remains as impactful as ever!PLEASE BUY THIS ALBUM IF YOU DON'T ALREADY OWN IT!!!

I vote it's not the best. But it's definitely one of them. The cover is a true testament to the fact that Ville can look fantastic in any setting, with any type of appearance. And the music? That's a testament to the supreme writing ability of the lovely Willa.
