Show was fantastic! Last time I saw HIM, Ville wasn't really doing anything but drinking and singing (and forgetting the words). But this time, Ville was joking with the fans and singing wonderfully and having a great time. I really really really enjoyed myself! I took a ton of pictures but wish I could have gotten better shots of Ville's face. He always sings stage-right and I was on stage-left. Poo! But, over all, the show was amazing and Ville and the boys did a fantastic job!! I brought a friend of mine who wasn't really a big HIM fan and he was very impressed with the encore of Rebel Yell. First time I've heard that song live and I was stoked as hell to hear it. Fucking amazing show!!!

Hello, I'm Alexis (: Ville Valo is one of my biggest role models and I've always dreamt of meeting him. I was so excited when I heard the leaks of Heartkiller and Disarm Me (With Your Loneliness).. though I felt bad for listening to them without buying the album. Anyways, I fell in love with the most wonderful Finnish band around 3 or 4 years ago. First song I ever listened to was Your Sweet Six Six Six and it's been one of my very favorites ever since.

But I can't decide whether I like their old music more, or their new music. In my opinion it differs, a whole hell of a lot. Razorblade, Darklight, Deep Shadows, they were (in my opinion)...

Sooo saw HIM at the 02 academy in Birmingham, with my dad...and no not through choice but from the realisation that no one can be trusted..

Hell standing in the pouring rain surrounded by black and heartagrams, in what was the proudest moment of my life. Next to me stood my aging pretty straght edge dad, in front stood two very gothic lovers while behind us stood two excited gentlemen all in good spirits. Yet despite fears of my father standing out like a sore thumb it was quite the opposite as i scanned the huge queue i realised us HIM fans are the most dynamic and diverse group i have ever seen, and to that i applaud every single one of you. Where as i expected him to be singled out he was one of many older members of the line and most sporting some sort of HIM merch, this pride turned what should of been a soggy wait in the rain into a beaming centre of sweetness in which i savoured every drop.
