Linde Interview At Ultimate Guitar

Ultimate Guitar has an interview with Linde at their site. Linde discusses Venus Doom, recording with Tim Palmer, a new Daniel Lioneye album, the band's songwriting process, and the guitars he used on the album.


Excerpt from the interview:
What is the status of your side-project Daniel Lioneye?


I’m actually about to do a second version of that band. It is going to be a black metal album this time round. I don’t know yet whether I’ll be doing the screaming or the growling but I’m definitely making it. We already have four songs ready to go now and once we get back home in early April, I’ll start work on it. So hopefully it’ll be out sometime later this year.

Well, aparently the new DL album is not going to be like the last one since it is going to be black metal. Ville wont be playing the drums since he lacks the dubbel pedal skills needed to play brutal black metal. ;) Can't wait to see Linde in corpse paint.. XD

Changing the line-up will mean its not Daniel Lioneye and the Rollers any more. Besides which, Ville did a fine job on drums on the first album - if it ain't broke, don't fix it !!

I can't wait! I think Linde is one of the best guitarists around, and have loved the previous work those 3 did as Daniel Lioneye. Although its hard to find alot of those songs here in New York, thank you youtube haha. I can't imagine any of them screaming like they do in death metal, but it sounds interesting. I have a feeling it's going to be kick@$$.
