Save NUTA

SAVE NUTA (Helsinki, Finland) is a musical collaboration involving members of bands like HIM, Scandinavian Music Group, The Latebirds, Donits Osmo Experience, The Wrecking Queens and Stunning Guns. These local heroes got together in order to save their old "Rock'N'Roll High School". This famous youth center in Helsinki's Munkkiniemi is known for its world class recording facilities a.k.a. MD-Studio. The session took place at the studio in question on a grey Saturday afternoon in October 2008. Mixed by Mr. Mikko Karmila and mastering courtesy of our pals at Chartmakers. Special guest on this recording - TOMMY RAMONE!

The video was fun to watch and the song was really catchy. Everybody seemed to have some fun making it. By the way, my mom saw the Ramones in the early 1980's at the Ritz in Greenwich Village and thought the rendition was "acceptable" which meant it was good which is also good. :)

Sooooo, if we want to buy

Sooooo, if we want to buy the song or make a donation what do we do?? Is there any place that is in English that can walk us through it???? I think it is a wonderful cause. Seeing as most school music programs in the U.S. are being gutted right now I hope this one in Finland at least can be saved and maybe inspire other to do something similar to this in their communities.

Thats cool Ville back at his roots with the Bass guitar. looked like everyone had a good time recording. Ville should of sung alittle bit. BUT can't wait to hear him as MOTO MOTO!!!!! such a catchy tune
