I waited 4 years to see you guys and I was in the front row and this Bitch that weighed like 300 lbs (seriously) kept elbowing me in the face. Purposefully. I am only 5 feet tall and I weigh about 100 lbs and so it was the 1 and ONLY concert I have EVER had to be pulled out of. I don't know if I want to risk it again. Your fans are brutal. I just wanted to hear some great music. I spent the rest of the night watching you from the bar. GRRR...... It wouldve been cool except I had no money for alcohol because I spent it all getting down there and back from there on $100 taxis. Each way.

It was my very first time seeing HIM. Well, my very first concert, actually. It was an early birthday present from my mom. It was absolutely amazing! There wasn't an extreme amount of people there so I got to stand up in front. :D And they played a Black Sabbath song... I remember Ville made everyone chant "Black Sabbath saved out lives". It was great. :D And it was the first time my mom really listened to HIM. She now loves them too. :)

It was the first concert that I went. It was incredible at first time we were in a bad side of the room. But Mario took my hand and suddenly we were in the middle of the room. It was the nearest side because in front of my eyes was him, Ville Vallo. In that moment of my life he was my platonic love hehe, for most. Hopefully we could meet these people and you have one to yourself for a few hours.
Anyway, it was incredibleeee!!!! And I am waiting for a new tour here in Barcelona.

I've been to two HIM shows there in Philly and in NYC too. Philly was my first HIM Show so I didn't know what to expect though I'd watched videos. As we walked into the doors and we could see the stage I got so excited. We walked up to where the general admission crowd had left off. we were so close and that got me so excited. Though the first band "Bleeding through" was not to me or my friends taste we got excited as HIM would soon be on. Our backs hurting bored talking unable to hear we stood as the lights went off I felt such a rush of excitement and it was the Venus Doom tour and the stage was set up pretty cool. They came on with Passion's killing floor and I remember Ville not coming out till just in time. AS the intro was being played we were lookin around then bam he comes out of no whwere lighting a ciggerette. It was awesome beacuse as the place also has a bar tehre were alot of older people to be embracing the same music as everyone it was so great to see people of all ages with the same intent on enjoying the music. I think it was probably one of my favorite shows. On the way home we celebrated with a bottle of Jack! (None of us were driving :p) one of my best nights

My favorite concert was at The Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL in November 2007. My mother gave my daughter the tickets for her 18th birthday, but because the concert was during the Thanksgiving holiday none of her friends were able to go. I was her last choice because she thought I was too old to rock & roll. It was that night that she found out that her mom could still rock and we have been to other concerts together since. Now mom is her first choice.
I saw HIM for the first time at the House of Blues in Orlando about 3 years ago. It was amazing. Such an intimate setting and such a great place to see them for the first time. I don't think anything will ever beat that one. I was so close I coulda touched Ville. Just perfect. Best concert ever.
Very concert on Valentine's Day great atmosphere very
intimately I can tell. Where at the front!!!
HIM seem to have a great time on stage!!
Had a misunderstanding with Ville at the concert he talk about someone sleepwaalking and I tought they where going to play Sleepwalking past hope so I screamed the song title and he replied "No, No". best moment ;)

It was lovely to see Ville looking so well (if a bit thin),and great to see the on stage banter-and goes without saying, they played brilliantly!
Everyone seemed to be having a great time.Where I was, total strangers ended up hugging-it was bizarre!I've never known an atmosphere like it-it was the perfect night!
Me too :)
I was at that concert, and I thought it was wonderful
Ville looked so much better, and hell, if even my mother (of all people) enjoyed it immensely, I think it's safe to say that it was mindblowing!
The best night of my life, no question.

MY favorite was October 26 2007 at The Pageant in St. Louis. Seeing my favorite band was such a thrill!!! I snuck off without telling my boyfriend at the time. It was worth it!!! We ended up getting married less than a year later and he just found out I lied about it and now our marriage is over. It's ok though since I LOVE VILLE!!!! VILLE IS ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first time I went to see HIM was in an intimate setting of the HOB on the Sunset STrip In LA. it was truly amazing. the second time @ the Orpheum Theatre which is gorgeous and they played an amazing show that night!
The very first concert I had ever gone to was a HIM concert. It was the one in LA at the Orpheum Theater on Nov. 15th 2007. (Had to check my ticket) It was HIM's second concert there that year and they where shooting the Digital Versatile Doom. Which I just noticed has a prental advisory lable... why? ANYWHO off topic. I loved it! I was three rows back from what I guess you'd call a pit. No moshing but anywho, I could see everything! And I thought it a bit funny when they did Poison Girl. I had never been to a HIM concert and I knew Ville was going to let the crowd sing in the title. Yet the only people to sing it, that I was aware of, was myself and the couple next to me. But we did get a laugh out of Ville for the DVD. All in all I really enjoyed it.
When HIM released love metal 2003, is there best concerts ever! The reason is Love metal was the last CD they ever made that was actually good. HIM is my favorite band. I understand And Love Said No came out after but that was a greatest hits... not a legit new CD. Dark light just ruined it with its 5 year old wanna be pop beat. Venus Doom just pissed me off. But i still love the band. :)
This was the only HIM concert I went and I kinda regret going to it. Like all things that one waits for for a long time, I idealised how this would be and I ended up disappointed.
There was nothing I could repproach to their performance. They just came too late I guess. This is what happens when you're born on the wrong side of the world...
This is the first time I ever saw HIM perform LIVE! This is the first night that I ever met them. My daughter and I got to hang out with them backstage. We watched the show from the side of the stage. Ville was sick with a chest cold but they were amazing. I will never forget how happy we were. So greatful to TF for an amazing night. We met our future friends, Aiden, for the first time that night also. What a great night! <3<3<3

My favorite HIM concert was in London Astoria 12th of December 2007 because it's my only HIM concert but thats just because you guys have never been to Iceland.
it was at HFStival, here in maryland, it must have been '07 or '06 and ville accidentaly spit on him self while trying to spit off to the side. Mige saw and it looked like he started giggling, while ville turned around to wipe the spit off his shirt. he notices mige laughing and sticks his middle finger up at him. XD it was pretty funny. and ville smiled at me. or in my direction. ill never forget that.

My favorite one is the St. Louis concert at The Pageant, 2007. My husband and I listened to Venus Doom on the way there from Terre Haute, Indiana. We even heard the band interviewed on The Point radio once we got there and ate St. Louis BBQ while we listened to it in the car. The concert was well organized, safe, and enjoyable. I had a perfect balcony seat directly in line with Ville and that was great! My poor husband, even though he is a loyal fan as well, found my behavior unusual as he has not seem me scream or cry for a band since Type O Negative. (I am 46 you see!)I remember every word sang and even remember Ville having trouble with the microphone stand. It was probably up there with my favorite concerts of all time which include Soundgarden, Type O Negative, and then HIM. Presently, you guys are my number one band to listen to!
I was supposed to have gone to No Sleep Till Halloween, but it was CANCELLED!
But to make it up for it i went to Projekt Revolution in 2007 and i HAVE to say it was my fave since it's the only one i've seen but i guess it's when ville was going through personal problems and such that he wasent very into the people you know, but i guess i have to be happy with what is given. I cant wait for them to be on the road again with new material and such. yay!
i believe my favorite him concert was my second time which was at the warehouse in Houston, tx. even though the first concert i was up front and center the second time i saw them it was less packed. the first concert they had body guards pull kids out from the front cause they were getting squished and dehydrated from everyone's body heat packed together like sardines. it also felt more personal than a huge room i was able to hear and see them better than the crazy fan girl screaming take ur shirt off next to me lol.
this is my favorite concert i have been to. for it was my first him concert and i loved it. it was in the rocktemple in Amsterdam, i remember it as if it was yesterday.

I can't remember the exact date or exact anything about that gig, because well...it was at a rock festival. I was far from sober. But HIM went on stage at midnight and it was amazing. I remember few things about it, but I do remember the chandeliers and that Ville was so f***ing beautiful. So beautiful it almost made me nauseous. And I remember hitting my friend hard enough for her to bruise because my fingers were itching from not being able to touch him. But she didn't mind. I remember Killing Loneliness. And I remember Ville basically calling Pete Doherty a junkie and it was amazing because, really, Pete Doherty was just pathetic. For all I know he might still be. Anyway...HIM's gig at the Hultsfred Festival some time in June 2006 was mind blowing and I was in love with Ville, with lukewarm beer, with sunshine and with life.
