Actually, that was pretty stupid article, but i've got interested. then i got interested in finnish culture, literature etc, and now I'm studying Finnish at university=) Don't listen to them that much anymore, but though, thanks guys for happy university days:D free games

My brother had gotten RR, and he would always listen to it really loud through out the house, I slowly noticed I could sing a long to every song. H.I.M. brought me and my brother closer acually, and I will always cherish that.

i have been in love with HIM and Ville for about 2 months and am so hooked. If some1 told me to kill for Ville, i probably would (totally JK) but would it count if i promise to love HIM and Ville for eternity? i totally would, and when i can afford it... i will buy backstage tickets to a concert and walk right up to Ville himself and prove it. 7-8 years ago... a friend of my bigger sister's (she is 11 years older than me) borrowed her a cd... it was the album Razorblade Romance. She was almost always listening to it, and at first i didn't really like it... but slowly I fell in love with Poison girl and then with Resurrection...
soon after that I took the cd and played it everyday... for like...weeks...months i think... i couldn't get enough! I learned all the lyrics, I was singing along and I was constantly discovering new things, new depths... it was fascinating (and I was only 11 years old).
Then someone gave me Deep shadows and brilliant highlights and I was like, wow, is this really H.I.M. ?? after i got so used to Razorblade Romance that it ran through my veins already, this album sounded really really different... but i started to love it too... and then a friend gave me Greatest lovesongs vol 666... it was really amazing, very different and deeeep atmosphere... at that time, For you was my fav song on the album but now I think it's When love and death embrace...

I only became a fan recently. like 3 months ago when i was watching a viva la bam dvd box set.
LOL i feel lame.
But i like techno and hip hop so for me to like this is big. No bands except HIM are in my favourite music list. Their music is so inspirational and has so much love in their songs. All these men are exploding with talent :D

I saw Him performing on viva comet 2000, i thought hey i like it, i checked the video and i realized it was a video with those green lights, before, whenever i saw it on tv i use to change channel, sure that it's some bloody techno...
Later that year, on my 21 birthday i get from my dad Razorblade Romance. As i get in all my life only 5 gifts from my dad, it's one of most precious things i ever had and still comeback and listen to it with pleasure.

the first time I see+listen them was when I was very young,9, and me and my sister were watching MTV and the video of RIP OUT THE WINGS OF A BUTTERFLY came out, I was impressed and shocked because it was totally different of the music I used to listen.. then I forgot it for about 2 months but i found it on the internet and saw the video of THE FUNERAL OF HEARTS.. and also realized that VILLE was (still) hot. so I have been fan since then!!

I started listening to HIM about two summers ago. I had seen the Heartagram symbol around, but not sure what it meant. One night I was watching Ozzfest in HD and HIM played "Soul on Fire". I was hooked. I went out and bought Dark Light and have not stopped listening to HIM since. I can't wait for the next album. Come to Spokane, WA for a concert!

sadly i had heard of HIM but never actually took the time to listen to a song. but i am also a big bam margera fan and one day while watching his show viva la bam i heard a HIM song(your sweet six six six) then downloaded all their songs. the first song i really listened to by them besides your sweet 666 was wings of a butterfly. i really do with i had started listening o them earlier because now they are my favorite band and they will always be!

I was floating though the rock music channels and Him were on kerrang I think It was the video to Join Me In Death. I instantly was very attracted to what i though was a girl (ville valo). I kind of told myself omg who is this unique rocker lesbian pale bitch she has such a wicked voice. Yeah and then I have loved the music since and have bought every album as it comes favourite song for me it is very hard but walking past dead lovers lane. She wanted my mother to listen to a song.
I heard it to and was in love with that song.

I've been a fan about 9 months now. It was one photo that did it for me, and Ville did look like a girl to me, but I figured he was male since he was shirtless. Then again, I like guys in makeup-The eyes and lips and serious expression got my attention! But I was actually looking through pics of guys I like on Google images and came across that photo of Ville while perusing through pics of Brandon Lee, and had to know who that was. I'm glad the name was there so I could do further research..and the rest is history!

I have been a fan for about 10 moths right now. I know, I should be ashamed... I reaaallly should..
But it was a dark october night and a friend linked Wings of a Butterfly. I really liked it and I wanted to hear more from this band, obviously! I downloaded (sorry, haha) Lose you Tonight & Love you like I do and when I had heard those 3 song that was so different all of them I was cought.
And I have been ever since!
HIM's music has really meant A LOT to me.

I should feel worse! I've only been a fan for 5 MONTHS!!
my story is a very long one though. I guess it started back in September. there was a girl in my class who carried a HIM messenger bag around. of course being ignorant, I thought, "how can she get away with a bag with a pentagram in this school?" (got to love conservative Catholic schools.) then I just let it go and moved on.
then while on the internet, I kept seeing HIM pop up everywhere, haunting me until I met someone on Pandora Internet Radio in January. he liked HIM. so I finally had the guts to ask about them. he told me I would love them and gave me a sample link for "Heartache Every Moment". I listened... then forgot about it. February comes. I finally make a HIM radio on Pandora (Feb 12). two days later, I hear "And Love Said No". instant love. then I looked up "The Sacrament" on Youtube. love it more. finally, I buy ALSN:GH at FYE on the 16th. the rest is history. I love HIM. it's a shame I was too scared to try them out until this year. but it was worth it! ^_^
