A true fan is one who supports the band in everything they do. And i do support them in everything.
First you didn`t like the cover for the album which i think is great and very artisic like HIM.
Second you didn`t like the 30 sec preview because it was to pop?!?
I was reading some comments and someone wrote that Venus Doom was the greater album because it was dark something like that, and that thinks this will bad because it will be pop!!
Well Ville sad that this is the first time he writes sober!!! The man is trying ti leave the past and start a new brighter live and some "fans" do not support that.
I would like to say to everyone who think that, if they don`t like the new sound of HIM they can listen to another band.
Because there are still a lot of fans in the world that support HIM and like everything they do.

In my opinion, Venus Doom was their best album ever! Perfect heavy blend of darkness & despair. Not to mention the awesome album cover art!

it seems HIM's variability makes fans having quite contrary opinions of their sound, a pity, I like them all, Venus Doom was awesome, but I like it even more this way, when the sound contrary to lyrics gives positive emotions like in RR times, anyway just great that again they do something new as usual...and it would be great to have the whole album like that song

...ok, I can't really judge too much on a 30 second preview, but from what I heard, I really didn't like it. It does sound American and it does sound like a pop song. It's just not HIM at all. Hopefully the rest of the album isn't like that :((((

This is exactly what I was wanting it to sound like. After these 30 seconds and the description fit to that one article describing the songs of the album, I already know I will like the album alot more than VD and LM which I like very much by the way. But this gives me a RR vibe, catchy and strong; from my side as a European, I don't think it sounds american, or american-market-produced at all. It's strong, catchy from the very moment and FINALLY meldodic and up-tempo like RR., this is HIM again...I'm so excited!!! Longing for more of that stuff!!!

I heard the preview of heartkiller I really liked it, I think the new sound is better than it's ever been, it's def a good change. Sure the early days were great but I love what are doing right now and always have loved what they have done. Get to Milwaukee guys!
