- How did you get into HIM?
I am a survivor of domestic abuse and while recovering from a near fatal gun shot wound to my right shoulder (right lung collapsed)I heard HIM's version of "Wicked Game". A nurse in the intensive care ward where I was, had gotten a HIM CD from her boyfriend who was in the military, stationed in Germany. She was playing it very quietly during her rounds. I found peace and strength in the music. When I left the hospital, I filed for divorce and got a restraining order against my now ex-husband and NEVER looked back. I went on to get my bachelors degree in psychology and then on to Veterinary School. I now am an emergency and critical care Veterinarian working with small and exotic animals :)

Greetings Fellow Sweethearts,
I am Team Leader for HIM'S PARATIISI I & II ~ The Official HIM Illinois Street Team. I am also the Team Leader for HIM'S Illinois Team Heartagram (The Street Network). I became a devoted HIM fan in 1999/2000 during a stay in intensive care, for a gunshot wound (domestic abuse). I have been to 15 HIM concerts(including Helldone).
I own almost all available recordings (including some of the guy's side projects). I have all DVDs released to date, and two books about the band.
I have a several HIM/Ville tattoos and am planning on getting more.
My car (a purple Dodge Neon sports edition) is detailed with mostly hot pink decals of Ville's face, Heartagrams, the logo for HIM (pre-lettering change), "got h.i.m.?" decals on each door, window clings with the entire band on each window, numerous bumper stickers on the front and back bumpers: "If lost please return to Ville Valo", "I'd rather be at a HIM concert", "I'd swallow for Valo" and a license plate "frame" that says "You are following a HIM fan", two "Killing Loneliness" skeleton decals next to each turn signal on the back.
My front seats are each covered with black HIM t-shirts with hot metallic pink Heartagrams on the front and the words "Dark Light" on the back. Last but not least a Razorblade Romance air freshener around my rear view mirror. In my back window is a HIM (from Hot Topic) pillow case the fits perfectly and a hot pink and black metal sign for the Dark Light Tour.
I am also a devoted fan of Euro-Rock Radio and can be found in the chat room on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. If you are reading this, you should join us. We have a great time and Kelly gets some of the best interviews with Ville that I have ever heard !!!
I am a small animal/exotics Veterinarian (specializing in emergency and critical care) and I have my B.A. in Psychology.
My Loves: family and friends, literature, existentialism, theology, the occult, travel, art of all types, photography, tattoos, water gardens, animal behavior and training, nature, three level chess, learning new things on a daily basis.
My Dislikes: racism, ignorance, domestic violence, rap music, girls who give women a bad name, child or animal abuse, and those who refuse to grow.

Just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone to have a great weekend! HIM is online on Myspace and everyone is sending lots and lots of Love Metal to our men!
I went last night and was going to get my largest Heartagram tattoo touched up. It holds the "tramp stamp" position on my lower back. It is hot pink, outlined, of course in black.
