I love this video and song,I give it five hearts because if I had five hearts they would all belong to Ville.But I can't seem to find the remake video of this song.I found one but the music doesn't match the video.I mean the timing is off,if anyone knows where I can find the right one or has it please look me up on myspace and send it to me.Thanks.HIM is the best band in the world.They will always have a fan in me no matter what.

This vid and song are excellant, one of my very favorites, touching the heartstrings and I could listen to it indefinately!
My only complaint is with the player on this site because if my network is borking at all I can't just let the vids load like on youtube and then play them. Results in choppiness and frustration, so I'm wondering if someone could look into improving this for not just me but anyone else with similar problems?

I liked this version sooo much better than the 2nd. I remember watching this back in 2005 or beginning of 2006 and thought it was brilliant. I think it was kinda silly they made another version, because this one seems to be more their style vs. the American-ized 2nd version, but that's record labels for ya. The plot line of this video made so much more sense and in a way reminded me of Open Your Heart to Me, by Madonna, that video was kinda Peepshow-esque and was awesome.

I love this song from the dark light cd but I really like the first version of the video more than this version I don't know why but the first one is more impressive to me........
I prefer Ville with short hair. I don't care if he wears the beenie. I just don't like Ville with long hair...I think he looks way better wtih short hair. He kind of looks...(whats is the word I am looking for??)...just plain bad...but don't get me wrong i don't want him to get a buzz cut either! I like his hair in the Killing Loneliness video. I also love this newer version of killing loneliness it really explains alot more about the lrics as you said and from knowing how an addiction to meth and how it killed my loneliness and numb the pain I felt of not being loved by anyone and now being clean for 9 years now and seeing the error of my ways it deffiently is a better version to me and to Brandon Novak hang in there things will get better.........

The song is about drug addiction. Ville wrote this song about Brandon Novak, a friend who used to be (or still is?) a user of heroin. Novak blamed his Heroin Addiction on the need to "Kill His Loneliness," since he was abandoned by his family.
